Make Money Blogging | How To Turn Your Blog Into A Money Making Machine
I’ve been taking about the amazing benefits of strategic blogging lately because; well…
…It just works!
Not only does having a blog for your business work for you 24/7 to get you leads and sales after you have blown through your warm market, but it makes building your business stress free.
Yes you can make money blogging!
No chasing… Just attracting!
Who Can Benefit From Strategic Blogging?
Network Marketers, Direct Sales Professionals, Realtors…
Pretty much anyone who has taken their business online…
There are several ways to make your blog a source of income. Whether you want to just build your direct sales business as a “hobby,” or become a full-time business owner and live the laptop lifestyle, here are some of the ways you can make money blogging to build and sell whatever you want!
#1 Make Money Blogging | Selling Your Own Products or Services to Readers
Network Marketers usually have a plethora of products to market. It’s just a matter of picking the one that you have the best experience with.
You can use your blog as a lead generation machine.
Now the key here is to know your target audience, know what their problems are. Then you can choose a product that you can promote that you know will solve that problem.
The product can be a physical product or you can write about the direct sales industry as a whole and show people how to be successful in it.
The trick here when composing your blog post is NOT to “sell” your products or services in your actual blog content!
Yup, don’t sell…teach!
See, what you do is, you have a CTA or Call-To-Action at the end of your post that leads the reader to a sign-up or contact form for those who want what you are talking about in your blog content.
This is what creates a warm lead. If they get to the end of your post and click your call- to- action and actually type in their email to get more info…
…You’ve got a quality lead that you can now follow up with!
It works like a charm if you do it right.
It’s a give and take operation…
You provide something of value and they in turn want to do business with you.
It’s attraction marketing at its finest!
So Here Is A Little Break Down Of How The Blogging Process Works…
Write content that provides a great deal of value and engagement from other readers.
Promote your content on social media.
Convert Your Vistors To Subscribers. As I mentioned earlier, put a clear call-to-action on your posts with a high-value offer and get visitors to sign up.
Once subscribed to your blog or email list, you can build a closer relationship with them. The incentive can be a “lead magnet.” This is a small information product you use as an enticement to get readers to sign up. The lead magnet is only available to subscribers and should directly address your reader’s pain points.
Send your subscribers content to build trust. Once they are on your subscriber list, offer high-value content that’s exclusive to them. Create a schedule for sending out emails.
I’ll get into what a good auto-responder email campaign looks like in another post.
#2Make Money Blogging |Sell Multiple Products or Services Your Audience Wants to Buy.
You can sell multiple products or services through your blog, but the strategies for doing so are different. A good way to sell multiple products is to start with your highest-priced products first. This is called a reverse funnel.
Just like before…The strategy is to blog about the specific problems your audience faces, get them to sign up for your email list, build a relationship with them there, and finally lead them to a recommendation for paid products.
But start with your most expensive offering first.
The idea behind offering the highest-priced product first is the Pareto Principle, which states that 80% of your results come from 20% of your efforts. In other words, most of your revenue and/or sign-ups will come from a small lead base, so it’s best to focus on the few customers who will account for the bulk of your income.
For example, if you have 100 subscribers, there may be between 2 and 20 of them that will buy high-priced items or join your MLM team. As you focus on the highest-ticket items, you’ll also sell lower ticket items to your other customers along the way.
Remember: These strategies happen after you have obtained leads from your blog post and have added them to your subscriber list.
#3 Make Money Blogging | Make Money Blogging using Affiliate Marketing
I saved the best for last!!
Affiliate marketing is the easiest way to set up a passive income and it can make you a decent amount of money. This is not the first option for those who create and sell their own products and services, because you’ll divert prospects away from purchasing your services.
However, it’s an excellent add-on stream of income when you recommend resources to your service business clients and is an amazing source of income for network marketers who are “in between” sales as well as Realtors who are looking to monetize their customer base after the sale.
Affiliate marketing is a business model where you endorse or promote other people’s products or services for a commission. Many vendors offer high commissions of around 50%.
This is a passive form of income because you don’t have to do the actual selling or product creation. All you need to do is blog, build and engage with your audience, and they will check out the products or services you’re recommending.
To start affiliate marketing, the first step is to join an affiliate network like ClickBank, JVzoo, or ShareASale. Even better, look at the resources and products you personally use on a regular basis and see if they have an affiliate program.
Sign up, grab your link, and create your own ‘resources’ page on your blog that you can send people to.
There are so many ways that you can make money blogging and create multiple streams of income.
For those in the direct sales industry, affiliate marketing is a perfect way to supplement your income while you are building your MLM business.
If you’ve ever tried to sell anything on Social Media, you know how challenging it is!
That’s because social media was meant to be social not “salesy”.
So how can you get started creating a branded website and making some serious money blogging… AND… even a monthly residual income stream all while building your primary business?
