So once you get your brand up and running how do you get people to stand up and take noticed. How do you properly promote your brand?  You know who your target audience is and what they are struggling with and you know exactly how to talk to them.

You’ve found their sweet spot.

Now it’s time to walk that red carpet and let them see your celebrity brand by doing a brand visibility campaign.

Yup, you’ve gotta get up and promote your brand online!

The thing to remember about brand visibility is that the average prospect requires seven to 10 “exposures” from a brand before they feel comfortable with it. They might not be willing to make a purchase or sign up with you until they’ve had a chance to get to know you better.

So what does that mean to you?

It means that you have to take the time to introduce your brand to your target audience in a meaningful and consistant way. You can’t expect true brand awareness to happen overnight, but there are some important things you can do to promote brand awareness and increase your visibility in the next 30 days.

Promote your Brand #1 | Create Strong Visuals

One of the most effective ways to create brand recognition is to hone in on some recognizable symbols and images that represent your brand awesomeness. As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words.

Start with a unique and effective logo. When you think about some of the world’s most recognized logos, the chances are good that you think about some of these:

The Nike “Swoosh”
The Target symbol
The Starbucks mermaid
The NBC peacock

These are all logos that need no words. When you see the Nike swoosh, you know exactly what it is.

Can’t think of a cool logo image that represents your brand?

Don’t worry! You’re a one woman show in your MLM business… and because of that, you are marketing yourself as your brand, YOUR NAME can be turned into a nice little logo that stands out.

The key to effective logo design is choosing the colors, images, and fonts that will tell people who you are. Once you have the right logo, use it consistently and use it EVERYWHERE!!

It should appear on all of the following:

  • Your website and all of your online accounts, including social media profiles.
  • Your marketing emails.
  • Your sales funnels.
  • Your business cards and all printed marketing materials.

When you have a recognizable logo and you use it consistently, people will begin to equate it with your brand.

Promote your Brand #2 | Create Branded Content

The next step is to create branded, value packed content that helps people identify your brand in both a visual and emotional way.

Content is King on the net!

So you’re going to employ a skill/ strategy called Attraction Marketing.

What is attraction marketing? It’s when you create free, value driven content that helps your target audience solve a problem.

The first thing that this does is sets you apart from the other distributors or competitors in your niche.

The second thing it does is, makes you stand out as a person with authority, a person people will come to for help because you obviously know something they don’t.

And the third thing it does is, spare you from ever having to chase your friends and family again!!

It makes you into a leader that people actually WANT to buy from or join.

So your goal is to attract a following simply by sharing training tips freely. Some of the ways to get your branded, value packed content out to your fans…

  • Post original written content, including blog posts, inspirational posts, and other information that represents you brand’s personality and promise and solves your ideal partners problem.
  • Create and share videos that explain your target markets industry and ways they can be successful in it.
  • Curate relevant content and share it with your followers with some authoritative commentary or suggestions.

Of course, these suggestions are only the tip of the iceberg, but sharing relevant and valuable content is the primo way to promote your brand and increase brand awareness.

Promote your Brand #3 | Paid Advertising

It would be great if you could build brand awareness completely for free, but the truth is, if you want to do it fast and efficiently then paid advertising is the way to go!

For example, you might decide to take your most liked Facebook post and promote it to a lookalike audience based on your current followers. You might offer those people a lead magnet such as a free checklist, video training or a short eBook in return for their email addresses.

You can also run ads on YouTube or bid on some important keywords on Google. The more your brand name and message are seen, the greater the awareness of your brand will be.

Retargeting is a great use of your advertising budget because it helps reinforce exposure to your brand to people who have already visited your website.

Promote your Brand #4 | Build and Use an Email List

Email marketing is still one of the best and most affordable ways to connect with your target audience. If you decide to build a list by using a lead magnet, as mentioned above, then you can create a welcome series to introduce your brand to the people who subscribe.

The benefit of email marketing is that you can automate everything by using an autoresponder. Each person who subscribes to your list can be funneled into a welcome series. Every time one of your branded emails appears in their inbox, you are building brand awareness and increasing the chances that the subscriber will turn into a paying customer.

So that’s it… Does it make sense to you?

If it doesn’t it’s because you are still thinking like a distributor and not a business owner. You have to make that mental shift for this to really work for you. Check out any (pick your industry) guru and I can guarantee that they are using the exact same strategies to promote their brands. The sooner you start doing this now, the quicker your business will grow.

The keys to promoting brand awareness are repetition and consistency.

It might take a while to work, but persistent brand visibility campaigns can help you convert leads easier and turn your brand into one that everybody in your target audience adores.
