8 Digital Marketers from San Diego You need to Follow!

As one of San Diegos’ digital marketers, I love supporting other online entrepreneurs who are on the same path I am. That’s why I make it a point to seek out the best online marketers to follow.

Because I’m an introvert, I don’t go to local events very often…

…Okay, that’s not an excuse and not true for all introverts but…

It was true for me.  =)

It took me a long time to feel comfortable going to live events. I actually just attended one this past weekend. Didn’t do to bad but, still needed some time alone to recharge.

Anywhoo, that being said, I was stunned to learn that one of the largest social media conferences happens right here in my hometown of San Diego.

Since I realized what I was missing in my own city, I’ve made it a point to go to as many local digital marketing events as possible, so I can meet some of San Diego’s finest  digital marketers in person.

The funny thing is, I had no idea these digital marketers I’m about to reveal to you were San Diego residence!

I found them online during my years of building my business online and later found out they lived here.

Here are 8 of my personal favorites among San Diego’s amazing digital entrepreneurs. Some are veteran digital marketers, while others are up-and-comers you may not have heard of yet.

Each one of these amazing entrepreneurs has helped me in some substantial way.

Either I’ve joined one of their membership sites, bought a transformational course, or met them in person. They’ve all had a significant influence on me – and they’re all building their businesses right here in the the San Diego area.

San Diego’s Digital Marketers #8: Sarah Jarzomek Young

Sarah Jarzomek Young , one of San Diego’s rising stars, is a gifted designer and the founder of Biz Template Babe. I can’t remember exactly how I first found Sarah and her amazing designs – but I’m glad I did!

One of her super powers is creating beautiful Canva templates that help entrepreneurs streamline their content creation process. She offers an array of templates for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Blogging and more specifically for online marketers.

She also sells content creation and template classes.

I totally use Sarah’s templates for everything now and they’ve made my life (and work) sooo much easier than they used to be!  

San Diego’s Digital Marketers #7: Cathy Olson

Cathy Olson is another rising star in the world of digital marketing you need to watch!

She is an expert graphic designer who has actually paired up with my marketing mentor, Julie Stoian,  (which is how I discovered her), to create Funnel Gorgeous.

They’re taking on the false idea that a successful sales funnel must be ugly to work.

Where did that idea come from? Lol!

San Diego’s Digital Marketers #6: Tar’Lese Trainer

Tar’Lese Trainer is an expert marketer and the founder of Body Brains Bank Account. I had the pleasure of attending a networking event at her beautiful home on the beach in San Diego.

Tar’Lese is a Certified Holistic Coach whose goal is to help her clients turn their bucket lists into “Lived Lists.” Her holistic approach is reflected in her name, which focuses on physical, mental, and financial health.

She offers multiple courses as well as one-on-one coaching. She’s an inspirational person and someone I’m happy to know.

San Diego’s Digital Marketers #5: Angel Quintana

Angel Quintana is my branding mentor and the founder of Holistic Fashionista. She’s built her own brand by thinking outside of the box and she taught me to do the same.

Angel’s calling is to help “Soulpreneurs” find their Kismet Clients, her trademark– the clients they are meant to have. Everything she does is with the intention of improving the world. That’s a message I love and can relate to.

She also publishes the Holistic Fashionista magazine, works one-on-one with clients, and sells an array of products to help entrepreneurs find their true path.

San Diego’s Digital Marketers #4: Sonia Stringer

Sonia Stringer is a network marketing mogul and the owner of The Business Academy for Women in Network Marketing.

Sonia’s business is helping women entrepreneurs build six-figure businesses online, and do it an elegant way. Her courses focus on providing practical solutions to the everyday problems that women direct sales owners face. With her help, women can learn how to generate leads, convert them into sales, and leverage their existing business into huge growth.

San Diego’s Digital Marketers #3: John Lee Dumas

John Lee Dumas is an expert digital marketer with an emphasis on course creation and the owner of Entrepreneurs on Fire. He’s the person who introduced me to the idea of creating my own courses at the very beginning of my online journey.

John has interviewed more than 200 entrepreneurs on his Entrepreneurs on Fire podcast, including big names such as Gary Vaynerchuk and Barbara Corcoran. He offers a podcasting course and a slew of free courses to help entrepreneurs build their digital brands.

I can honestly say that without John talking about building courses, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

San Diego’s Finest #2: Pat Flynn

Pat Flynn is a local San Diego podcasting expert and the founder of Smart Passive Income. He’s the one who taught me about podcasting, but he also teaches an array of online courses about blogging, email marketing and affiliate marketing.

Pat’s also an advocate of creating a balanced life. He’s a father and a husband who started Smart Passive Income to ensure that he’d have time to spend with his wife and kids.

If finding the right work/life balance is important to you – and if you’re interested in learning the ins and outs of earning passive income – you should be following Pat.

San Diego’s Finest #1: Amy Porterfield

Last but not least is Amy Porterfield. She is a multi-million dollar course creator and my all-time favorite introvert entrepreneur! I’ve followed her for a long time, literally, since 2010.

It was her event- The Entrepreneur Experience, that I just attended, and it was AMAZING!!

I was inspired by the fact that early in her digital marketing career, she was rarely on video which is what I was struggling with early in my business. That proved to me that I didn’t need to do video to build a million-dollar business.

I did it anyway tho, and now I really like creating recorded videos!

Amy’s example helped me get past my own doubts at the start of my journey. She offers an array of online courses and other products to help entrepreneurs who are just starting out – or those who are stalled on their journey.

Amazingly, in the 10^th year of Amy’s journey, she just added Facebook Live videos to the mix. She’s proof-positive that introverts can win at online marketing.

I still haven’t jumped on the Facebook Live bandwagon as of yet, but I’m working on it! Lol!
